Children’s Creative Project
The Children’s Creative Project have been around for 49 years and have never had a logo, so it was a great honor to be asked to design one for them. Children’s Creative Project is a non-profit arts education program founded in 1972. Serving 50,000 children in over 100 schools with visual & performing arts work shops & performances. CCP is best known for I Madonnari, the Italian street painting festival, held every year — for 33 years — at the Santa Barbara Mission during Memorial Day weekend as their largest fundraising effort.
The mission of the Children’s Creative Project is to inspire & engage all students in the creative process through unique visual and performing arts education and cultural experiences. They collaborate with school districts, professional artists, and art organizations to ensure that the arts are included in every child’s education.
Logo Solution:
The logo exemplifies the joy and discovery of art education and the deep love, curiosity and desire of art — to nurture it, feed it, and enjoy it for years to come. The logo was to be simple, friendly and timeless — perhaps used for another 49 years!
